BiteDeck is an iPhone app for nutrition, body composition, and weight tracking. iOS 17 and later. Free tier and paid tier ($14.99/month or $69.99/year). Reads and writes Apple Health. Built around photo scan, barcode, nutrition-label OCR, and a 151,700-food local database with 282 restaurant chains.

§ 02 · What we believe

Three things, in this order:

• Local-first

  Your data stays on your phone. The forecast math runs on the device. HealthKit is the only integration, and it's opt-in per metric. There is no BiteDeck server.

• No account

  Open the app and start tracking. No signup, no email, no magic link. Your iPhone is the identity.

• Ad-free, forever

  A free tier and a paid tier ($14.99/month or $69.99/year). Ads aren't the model in either tier and never will be.

§ 03 · How we work

Small team. No contact form, no chatbot, no ticketing queue. We read every email — usually within the day. The same person who replies to a bug report is often the person who fixes it.

Two tiers — a free tier and a paid tier at $14.99/month or $69.99/year. Ads aren't the model and won't be — that's a commitment, not a phase.
